"Crying for Wotton" A new display at The Wotton Heritage Centre features
Mr. George Carpenter who has been Town Crier of Wotton for
40 years. The display includes a brief history of this ancient office
but particularly looks at Mr. Carpenter's involvement in events
both locally and world wide and mentions some earlier holders of A variety of photographs and other memorabilia are on view. The display will run from November to January.
