"Toys and Games "

Image of antique toysA display at the Wotton Heritage Centre from November 2008 to January 2009.

A look at Toys and Games from Medieval times to the present day. Some games, with different names, have changed very little over time. Wooden toys have also been very popular for many centuries.

On November 29th., the evening of the Chamber of Trade Christmas event, the Heritage Centre will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. It will be possible for young people to try out a variety of games, past and present. Space is limited however and playing time may have to be restricted.
The new Souvenir Shop at the Centre will also be open with many Wotton-under-Edge gifts suitable for Christmas presents (or any other anniversary!)
