Wotton's Achievements

Through out the centuries many people in Wotton have been visionary or scientific inventors or first in the field in the application of new ideas and discoveries. This display highlights some of these by means of photographs, press reports and diagrams and reference to many of the people involved.

The display runs from April to July and is in conjunction with the Museums and Galleries month, 1st-31st MAy 2008.

The display will run at the Wotton Heritage Centre, The Chipping, Wotton-under-Edge, Glos. GL12 7AD Telephone: 01453-521541

Admission to the Museum, Tourist Information Point and Souvenir Shop is free though donations towards the up keep of the Centre are always welcome.

A small fee is charged for use of the Research Room.

Opening Hours:
Tuesdays to Fridays: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Saturdays: mornings only.
