A look at "Old Wotton"

In connection with National Archaeology Week

When we walk into town to do the shopping or turn along a side street to visit a friend we tend to take our surroundings for granted. If we stopped to look around us we should see many things - decorative fanlights, multi shaped door knockers, ingenious boot scrapers and old medieval buildings to name but a few - that are relics of the past but still with us today. This display highlights a number of such items which are still part of our daily lives in Wotton,

"The Past in the Present" is in conjunction with National Archaeology
Week 2008, 12th. to 20th. July. The display will be in place from July to
September.
