You can help to support the valuable work of Wotton-under-Edge Heritage Centre by becoming a member of the Historical Society that runs it.

Founded in 1945 the society seeks to protect, preserve and promote the history of Wotton-under-Edge and its surrounding area for the interest, education and enjoyment of local residents and visitors.

Membership begins from the moment you join, costs just £10.00 a year and includes a copy of the Society's annual publication.

Besides helping us to continue to safeguard our local heritage it will allow us to continue supporting the work of family historians and local history researchers.

Members are entitled to attend historical meetings organised by the society on a wide range of fascinating topics for free. These are arranged for the last Friday evening of the month between September and April every year. In addition, members have free access to the Historical Society archive, which contains resources for family and local historians as well as academic researchers.
