Elaine White has, through her tailoring skills, developed a knowledge of textiles and fashion through the ages. Her intention is to share her fascination of this subject and inspire us.

What is a Textile Treasure?

 

It may be a very personal view posibly based on local knowledge or impressions of local people.

 

It may have an historical context as seen in many of the stately home in Britain or abroad.

 

 

Or even realted to a certain collection, fashion house or organisation.

 

It is in fact all of these!!
