To be held at the Chipping Clubroom at 19.30
Christmas Toy Memories
Can you remember the toys you had as a child? This talk will help you remember, particularly if you were born in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. However, it starts in the 1930s and remembers the toys my parents had. As a rule of thumb the older you are the less toys you had as a child.
David Cheesley has been doing talks for 38 years on a wide variety of local history and nostalgia topics in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. He co-founded Barton Hill History Group in 1983 and has written and co-written several books and been involved in the production of local history videos over the years. However, he loves the preparation and performing of talks. If you enjoy the pictures then please go to his You Tube Channel historymandave4739.
