Free Workshop in the Chipping Clubroom, Creating Identity through Masks and Photography

Free Workshop in the Chipping Clubroom
Creating Identity through Masks and Photography

Located in the Chipping Clubroom at 10.30am - All ages welcome

Throughout her life, Sophie Gaudier Brzeska assumed multiple identities. This workshop explores decorating masks to challenge or reflect the metaphorical masks we wear daily.

  • Beginners guide to decorating masks
  • Photography with masks
  • Discover how artists have used masks in their practice
  • Create your own identity mask
  •

COST: The event is free, but we would appreciate a donation towards materials on the day.

This workshop is for anyone interested in identity and creative processes- you don’t need any previous experience.

All materials are provided but if there’s anything particular you want to add to your mask, please bring it along.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you wouldn’t mind getting paint or glue on.

Workshop Leader: Shifra Kirby – Working with Hundred Heroines in Nailsworth to deliver our Young People Programme, Shifra is an experienced workshop facilitator.

Shifra is passionate about creating fun workshops that teach important processes.
