Friday, 28 March: Event 1
19:30 : a talk by Del Barrett, director of Hundred Heroines calledIn Sophie’s Orbit
An illustrated journey following Sophie’s footsteps and illuminating the women photographers who would have been in her orbit. Location: Chipping Clubroom, next to the Heritage Centre.
Saturday, 29th March: Events 2, 3, 4 & 5
Event 2 at 10:30: a circular walk inspired by Sophie’s routes: to her house (part 1, dry walk) and as an option for some, a “spur” up the hill (part 2 wet walk) via cuckoo lane.
Event 3 at 10:30 - 12:30: Free Workshop in the Chipping Clubroom- Creating Identity through Masks and Photography
Event 4 at 13:30 - 15:30: Talks at the Cinema: The Life and Legacy of Sophie Gaudier Brzeska.
