Those were the days The Swinging Sixties

Virginia & David Adsett will renew our memories of this heady time in modern British history with photos, displays of memorabilia and tales of the times. So dig out those mini skirts, Beatle jackets etc. and be part of the memory.

The Swinging 60s - Looking back on a fascinating decade through  original objects, costume, toys and newspapers of the time.  A heady mix of minis and maxis, Mary Quant, the assassination of a President, the Beatles, the Beeching report  and the Moon Landing  ….. and we won the Football World Cup!

We have enjoyed ‘Those were the  days’ since we began in 2010 when I retired from 29 years at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum.  I am continuing, since I have built up the collections and enjoy giving talks and meeting different groups, and next year my husband David will be coming along as roadie.
