The Cotswold Way - 100 miles of history
16/12/2016
Dr Steven Blake will address examples of prehistoric sites, Iron Age monuments, the Roman influence and the Medieval period along the Cotswold Way.

Anyone wishing to discover the archaeology and history of the Cotswolds could do no better than to walk the 102 mile National Trail from Chipping Campden to Bath. This illustrated talk will consider the wealth of monuments to be seen along the Way, from Stone Age long barrows and Iron Age hill-forts, through Roman villas and medieval churches, to the canals and mills of the Industrial Revolution and the relics of the Cold War.
